Acceptable Use Policy

Effective date: September 8, 2026  |  Last updated: September 8, 2026

This policy protects customers, visitors, networks, and providers. It applies to content, domains, hosting, email, applications, campaigns, and systems used with HostMamma services, together with any provider acceptable-use rules.

Prohibited activity

  • Violating law, facilitating crime, infringing intellectual-property or privacy rights, or violating court or regulatory orders.
  • Distributing malware, ransomware, spyware, credential theft, malicious code, or material primarily intended to compromise systems.
  • Conducting unauthorized access, scanning, interception, denial-of-service, botnet, phishing, spoofing, or circumvention activity.
  • Sending spam or communications that violate consent, identification, unsubscribe, or suppression-list requirements.
  • Hosting child sexual abuse material, nonconsensual intimate imagery, trafficking content, or content that exploits minors.
  • Making credible threats, inciting violence, unlawfully harassing, impersonating, defrauding, or deceiving others.
  • Materially disrupting systems, networks, or other customers, or evading enforcement, sanctions, export controls, usage limits, or provider restrictions.

Security responsibilities

Customers must use reasonable security controls, maintain supported software, protect credentials, and cooperate with incident response. Open relays, compromised sites, and vulnerable systems may be restricted to prevent harm.

Enforcement

HostMamma may investigate reports, request remediation, remove or restrict content, suspend services, or terminate access according to severity, urgency, applicable law, and the governing agreement. An upstream provider may take independent action under its policies.

Reporting abuse

Submit an abuse report through the HostMamma contact page with the affected domain or service, URLs, dates, relevant headers or logs, and a concise description. Do not include unnecessary personal information or credentials.

Provider-fulfilled products

Domains, hosting, email, security, and related products fulfilled through the upstream product-provider storefront are governed by the current agreements presented for the customer’s market, product, account, and checkout. Those provider agreements control for provider-fulfilled products if they conflict with a general summary on HostMamma.com.
